October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and The Loft Hair and Nail Salon in Tuscaloosa is showing their support for the fight against Breast Cancer through their creation of the GO PINK CLUB!

Join The Loft in supporting the women that are battling breast cancer every Friday during the month of October by sporting a pink highlight in your hair! When BamaSalons asked her what made her want to be apart of GO PINK she explained that she had a close family relative die of breast cancer. "I think getting this GO PINK highlight is a really cool way to support breast cancer awareness month."

QUESTION: HOW CAN I KEEP MY LASH EXTENSIONS LOOK GREAT LONGER?

So how do you keep those lashes looking their best? Check out the Novalash aftercare instructions below!

• Do not expose your Novalash eyelash extensions to water for at least 12 to 24 hours after they are applied to your natural lashes. If you wash your face within 24 hours after your Novalashes are applied avoid splashing water or getting facial cleansers around the eye area. Do not swim, shower, use hot tubs, or steam rooms for the first 12 to 24 hours.
• Avoid contact between moisturizers, eye creams, or makeup removers and the Novalash eyelash extensions. Any cosmetic product or cleanser containing glycols, organic solvents, alcohol, or urea should be avoided. Products such as these can potentially break down the adhesive bond and shorten the duration of time the extensions stay on.
• Use only Novalash approved water-soluble mascara on your eyelash extensions. Waterproof mascara should not be used. Repeated use of mascara may shorten the lifespan of Novalash eyelash extensions.
• Curling of Novalash eyelash extensions is not recommended. Because the eyelash extensions come pre-curled, additional curling is not necessary and doing so may shorten the lifespan of the extensions by compromising the adhesive bond.
• Avoid rubbing your eyes or pulling on your Novalash eyelash extensions. Any action with repeatedly puts stress or strain on your Novalash eyelash extensions will cause them to come off prematurely.
• Eyelashes are normally shed on a regular basis, thus multiple extensions may be lost on any given day.
• Visit your Novalash eyelash extension technician for touch-ups every 3 to 4 weeks to maintain your fuller longer lash line!

Bottom Line: Treat your Novalash eyelash extensions with care by accommodating their needs! NO water and steam for the first 24 hours. NO mascara unless you really want it. NO eyelash curling. NO eye rubbing. USE ONLY gentle cleansers around the eye area. If you can follow these simple recommendations your eyelash extensions can do their job longer!

These two Redken haircare products worked perfectly together with the shampoo clarifying the hair and the conditioner repairing the hair! We noticed that this shampoo nourished our hair, like it said it would. Real Control Shampoo brought a nicely balanced bouquet of scents into the shower with shea butter and a hint of exotic fruit.

Real Control Shampoo helped one of our product researcher’s high maintenance hair regain its natural texture…Fast , “My hair was not weighed down by this shampoo. I could tell it removed styling product build up with shampooing with Real Control just once.
